The purpose of the Blue Paper is to share knowledge and analyses from Mérieux NutriSciences’ experts, supporting customers in line with the company’s mission: “Better Food. Better Health. Better World.”

Eight years after its first launch, the Blue Paper has evolved from a printed book into a user-friendly online platform, offering frequently updated content and enhanced interactivity.

The content of the Blue Paper is derived from official sources meticulously selected and reviewed by Mérieux NutriSciences’ experts. This includes documents and statements from leading international scientific and regulatory organizations, such as the FAO, WHO, EFSA, European Commission, FDA, among others, as well as local organizations and authority bodies.

The Blue Paper is the result of collaborative efforts by Mérieux NutriSciences’ international network of experts. They continuously contribute their knowledge and insights on various topics covered in the Blue Paper, including contaminants, food matrices, food safety trends, and new regulations. It’s crucial to note that the provided information is not exhaustive; it focuses on key regulations and scientific insights.

This expert information is augmented with data from Mérieux NutriSciences’ internal tools, notably Safety HUD, which aids in the in-depth analysis of food safety alerts. This real-time data support is essential for understanding current trends and conducting proper risk assessments on food products and raw materials.
